Estepona
Its location between sea and mountains make possible to enjoy different appealing landscapes. It is important to highlight its magnificient beaches in its 21km of coast.
The eldest remnants found dates back the prehistory; however it should be emphasised the influences and remnants of the Roman, Phoenician, Muslim, and medieval ages, among others. There are several examples of these cultures: the clock tower, several beacon towers, the San Luis’ castle and the church of los Remedios. The municipal museums, located in the original bullring, are a recommended visit.
Furthermore, this region is well-known for its excellent cuisine, folklore and its celebrations.
ESTEPONA’S PORT
The Estepona’s port, located only 5 minutes far from the city centre, offers a beautiful urban image with a mariner touch. Visitors that like to go for a walk will be delighted by the views of the sea together with the marine smell of the place.
